Let me suggest a favorite day trip excursion to enjoy during your visit to our area. Start your day by taking I26 from Columbus to sweet Saluda, NC for some mountain town shopping (be sure to make a pit stop HERE). Once your finished exploring the unique and short main street in town take Route 176 down the mountain toward Tryon, stopping at Pearson Falls for a hike. Continue on to this well-established equestrian community for a bit more shopping. Plan your full day around the free concert series the city of Tryon provides through the warm-weather months offering a wide variety of musical artists.
