Fireworks in Lake Lure
July 3: Independence Day Celebration
This fireworks display can be seen from two ideal spots - gorgeous Morse Park Meadows and the public beach at Lake Lure. Viewing this show from a boat near Marina Bay is also a wonderful treat.
This is event is sponsored by the Chamber of Hickory Nut Gorge, the Town of Lake Lure, and Chimney Rock Village. The beach opens at 8 p.m. A limited number of VIP access seats are available through the Chamber.
Come early in the day and enjoy lunch or dinner at one of the local restaurants in Lake Lure or Chimney Rock Village before the show, and then head over to Morse Park.
July 4: Independence Day Celebration at Rumbling Bald Resort
Lake Lure's Rumbling Bald Resort also boasts a beautiful fireworks show starting at 9:30 pm. And while beach access is only open to resort guests and residents, public boat viewing of the fireworks display is a beautiful - and popular - way to see a great show.
